A native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Francis B. Finni and Violetta Oesting Finni. Candence worked for years as surgical tech with Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed reading and she loved to crochet. Following her love for swimming, in her earlier years she taught diving and was also a CPR instructor. Also included in her many talents were a love for music. Using that love, she learned to play the accordion and that brought her and others a lot of joy. Her grandkids were the light of her life as she truly loved them and her family. When her son was asked about his mother, his reply was, “She was truly an outgoing person. She always tried to help everyone she met.”
In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Hill left behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Frances Ridley of Columbia, TN; one son, Charles A. Woolley, III of Waynesville, MO; one sister, Deidra (Bill) Ferguson of Seaside Park, NJ; two granddaughters: Mandi Woolley of Waynesville, MO and Karley Sisk of Santa Fe, TN; two grandsons, Mason of Waynesville, MO and Joe Ridley of Columbia, TN; and one step-granddaughter, Delayna Hill of Columbia, TN
