Mrs. Lorraine Rygh, age 86, wife of the late Einar Bjorn Rygh and a resident of Guardian Court in Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2010 following an extended illness.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date in Wisconsin. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Luverne, Minnesota and a long time resident of Maury County, Tennessee, Mrs. Rygh was the daughter of the late Arthur E. Gunderson and the late Nettie Kattke Gunderson. She was a member of College Grove Grace Church. All of her adult life was spent as a loving and caring housewife and mother. As her family described Lorraine, they made mention that although she was a private person her personality was very friendly. As some lose sight of what is important in life, Lorraine never did. She recognized the importance of family and made sure that her primary objective was to take care of hers. Having four children living in different regions of the United States, she still made certain to talk with them every day. She will truly be missed by all of her family.
Mrs. Rygh left behind to cherish her memory her four children: Vicki (Chris) Cunningham of Spring Hill, TN, Leanne (John) Chambers of West Palm Beach FL, Melinda Page of Minocqua, WI, and Eric (Deanna) Rygh of Twin Lakes, WI; one sister, Ila (Ralph) Cates of Delavin, WI, and one brother, Donald (Jacqueline) Gunderson of FL, eight grandchildren: Emily Rygh, Seth Page, Lauren Cunningham, Rebecca Cunningham, Kelsey Page, Eric Cunningham, and Nathan Burns; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Loran Gunderson, Orville Gunderson, and Arnold Gunderson.
