She was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Herman Jones and Roberta Stewart. She was a member of The River of Life Church. Throughout her life, Anna touched many people’s lives. For more than twelve years, she owned and operated her own restaurant, Anna’s Cafe’ in Lavergne along with her best friend Lucille, who was her partner at the restaurant. Anna’s world revolved around people. She went beyond giving to help others; even those she didn’t know. Her daughter fondly recalled, “She was the best person ever.” She truly loved her family, her children and her grandchildren. Her granddaughter Marley was her world. She enjoyed gardening with her, painting with her and going shopping. She couldn’t wait to go to her grandson Tyler’s sporting events. Her family recalled all the wonderful crafts she would love to make. Everyone who had the opportunity of having her as part of their life will truly miss all of her loving ways.
In addition to her mother, Anna left to cherish her memory two daughters: Jennifer (Richard) Leclair-Wilson of Smyrna, TN and Julie (Mark) Thomas of Mt. Eagle, TN, a brother, Michael Jones of Baxter, TN; a great nephew, Reese of Baxter, TN; four grandsons: Tyler Smith, Kenton Leclair-Wilson, Linkin Thomas and Maddox Thomas; three granddaughters: Marley Jean Leclair-Wilson, Lyndon Leclair-Wilson, and Amaiya Thomas; and we cannot fail to mention her best friend Lucille Lunn.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father Paul Stewart.
