George W. Jones Jr.

June 19, 1946 - March 18, 2011

Mr. George W. Jones Jr., age 64, and a resident of S. Bigby Drive in Columbia, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2011.

A private time of reflection will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George W. Jones, Sr. and the late Glenna M. (Witherspoon) Jones. He was a United States Army veteran. He spent many years working as an electrician in Florida. Following his retirement a few years ago, he moved to Tennessee to help with his ailing mother. He had varying interests in life and was greatly interested in astrology and space exploration.

Left to cherish his memory include: his aunt Lenna Hines of Columbia, TN; several cousins which include Pam Phillips of Columbia, TN and a dear family friend, Lee Chumley also of Columbia.
