Mr. Ronnie W. Stewart, age 68, the husband of Judy (Watts) Stewart and a resident of Union Place in Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife and family close by his side.

Funeral Services for Mr. Stewart will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Timmy Golden officiating. Interment will follow in the Watts Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Maury County, he was the son of the late Willie Timothy Stewart and the late Mary Magdeline Swindle. He was a member of the Methodist church. He served in the United States Army and had retired as a Mechanical Supervisor from CSX Transportation. Growing up in Maury County and graduating from Central High School he found pleasure in working with some of our local organizations. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge since July 31, 1980. He was the Past Master of the Mt. Pleasant Lodge #610. In his earlier days he enjoyed hunting. He truly loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. His kind heart and loving ways will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he left behind to cherish his memory his children and step children: First we would like to mention a very special daughter Isabella Rose Stewart of Columbia, TN, Jeff (Penny) Stewart of Culleoka, TN, Chris (Janna) Stewart of Columbia, TN, Terry King of Columbia, TN, Rhonda (Randy) Benderman of Franklin, TN, and Tracy Anderson of Columbia, TN; his sister Shirley (Bill) Morgan of Manchester, TN; five grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: James Wesley Watts of Duck River, TN, Roger (Jeanna) Watts of Columbia, TN, Cris (Pam) Watts of Lawrenceburg, TN, Stanley Watts of Mt. pleasant, TN, Anthony (Patsy) Watts of Columbia, TN and Janet Cole of Mt. Pleasant, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jackie Stewart.

Pallbearers will include: Buford Moss, James Wesley Watts, Roger Watts, Stanley Watts, Anthony Watts, and Cris Watts.

Honorary pallbearers are the Masonic Lodge brothers and the friends of Bucky’s Family Restaurant.
