Gertrude Wojnar

March 14, 1923 - March 27, 2011

Mrs. Gertrude Wojnar, age 88, and a resident of Mulberry Drive in Columbia passed away early Sunday morning on March 27, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Wojnar will be celebrated at 3:00PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home, Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Interment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends from 1:00-3:00PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home.


Mrs. Wojnar was a native of Detroit, Michigan and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia, TN. She is survived by husband of 69 years, Felix A. Wojnar; daughters, Connie (Harry) Paczkowski of Columbia, TN, Pat (Steve) Butryn of Hudsonville, MI and Denise Wojnar of Springfield, VA; sister, Lillian Gorecki of Florida; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
