Mr. Todd Delano Phillips, age 47, husband of Sonda Belew Phillips, and a resident of Hwy 20 in Summertown, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Funeral Services for Mr. Phillips will be held on Sunday, April 03, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summertown Bible Christian Church in Summertown, Tennessee with Rev. Jeff Asbell officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday April, 02, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the church and then again on Sunday from noon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Joel Phillips and Mildred Phillips. He was a member of the Church of God and had worked for the Dana Corporation. When his family was what type of person he was, immediately they responded with, “he was a hardworking, loving, outgoing man.” His love for his family was evident by all who met him. He simply loved life and all those who had the privilege of knowing him, loved to be around him. His love and companionship will truly be missed by all.

In addition to his wife and mother, he left behind to cherish his memory a step-daughter Monica Marie Hendrix of Lawrenceburg, TN, his step-mother Pat Phillips of Savannah, TN, his mother-in-law whom he adored, Bessie Belew of Summertown, TN; his sister, Jennifer of Detroit, MI, six brother-in-laws: Max, C.W., Raymond, Pete, Ike, and Billy; four sister-in-laws: Peggy, Shirley, Marion and Marie; a special nephew, aunt and uncle; and several cousins.

In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his step father Ken Dawley; his grandparents, Fred and Helen Lowe and Thomas Jefferson Phillips and Lettie Jewel Phillips.

Pallbearers will include: Darrell Nabors, Robert Belew, Ricky Belew, Ronald Crisp, Shawn Crisp, and Jason Crisp.
