Barbara Ann Petosky

September 19, 1936 - April 16, 2011

Mrs. Barbara Ann Petosky, age 74 and a resident of LaVergne, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Columbia, Tennessee following an extended illness.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Petosky will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Maury Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Adair officiating. The family will have private visitation prior to the service at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maury Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will include: Brian Hinkle, Kevin Hill, Kenneth Hill, Jason Wiggins and Kevin Baker.

A native of Alva, Kentucky, Mrs. Petosky also resided in Michigan for many years before moving to Tennessee. She was a homemaker and member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia.

She is survived by two daughters: Margaret (Kenneth) Hill of Spring Hill and Mary Wells of Franklin, TN; two sons: Michael Petosky and Marty Petosky both of LaVergne, TN; one sister, Wilma Wood of Fairborne, OH; grandchildren,:Brian (Jeanine) Hinkle, Lori (Jason) Wiggins, Kevin (fiancée Jessica) Hill, David Petosky, Amanda Petosky, Tayler Ashley Wells, Brandi Petosky, Britteny Petosky and great grandchildren: Fox Stevens, Brock Hinkle, and Sophia Wiggins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. Petosky, her parents, Adam and Nannie Mitchell Engle; and three brothers: Argenis Engle, Elmer Engle and Billy Joe Engle.
