A native of Giles County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Dial and the late Clementine Marie McGowan. She retired from Weather Tamer where she had been employed as a factory worker. As her pastor stated, she was a “fixture” at St. Luke United Methodist Church and her sweet presence will be greatly missed by all of her church family. Nancy lived a simple life and adhered to the important things of life; God and family. She was devoted to her son and then to her grandchildren. After retirement, she took care of many children as she always had a special appreciation for them. Her love and compassion will continue on in all those whose lives she touched.

Ms Dial left behind to cherish her memory two grandchildren: Bridget Dial and Nathan Dial; one great grandson, Ja’Briel Gladden, two sisters: Ann Norman and Martha Norman and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Paul Dial, two sisters: Rachel Waters and Mary Jett and two brothers: Bob Dial and J.W. Dial.

Pallbearers will include: Dale Dillehay, Jerry Sullivan, Kenneth Pitts, Nathan Dial, Jeremy Chatman and Greg Golden.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult One Sunday School Class of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
