Lois Marie Ruddle

June 2, 1938 - July 18, 2011

Ms. Lois Marie Ruddle, age 73, a resident of Waynesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011at her home surrounded by her loving family.

The family will hold a private memorial service for Ms Ruddle. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Waynesboro, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Lonnie Swinea and the late Mable Hull. She spent many years working as a realtor. She was very proud that for ten years she was also a Time Share Salesperson in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She enjoyed traveling and was a very outgoing person. One of the things for which she was most proud was her eleven children. She thrilled to let others know that this was her greatest accomplishment in life. Her children dearly loved her and they wish to say, “We will really miss you; life won’t be the same without you.”

She left behind to cherish her memory six sons: Danny Leroy (Melissa) Ruddle of Lewisburg, TN, Marshall Bruce (Laurie Ann) Ruddle of Summertown, TN, Randall Lee (Roderica) Ruddle of Summertown, TN, David Paul (Valerie) Ruddle of Waynesboro, TN, Donald Steven (LaDonna) Ruddle of Waynesboro, TN, and Thomas Samuel (Rachel)Ruddle of Columbia, TN; five daughters: Lisa Marie (Jerry) Allen of Hartsville, TN, Laura Deline (Robert) Alston of Murfreesboro, TN, Karen Gayle Norwood of Waynesboro, TN, Dawn Renee’ (Jeff) Eaton of Greencastle, IN and Tammy Inavy McGuire of Waynesboro, TN; two brothers: Donald Swinea and Raye Swinea; one sister, Geraldine Johnson, twenty-seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Steve, Samuel and William Swinea and two sisters: Mary Cook and Jewel Dean and a grandson, David Joseph Ruddle.
