Thomas Phillips

March 10, 1948 - July 29, 2011

Mr. Thomas Michael Phillips, age 63, and a resident of Nashville passed away in Columbia, Tennessee at Maury Regional Medical Center on Friday, July 29, 2011.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Mr. Phillips on September 10, 2011 at the Flora Bama Lounge in Gulf Beach, Florida. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. (For additional service information, contact: Kathleen Phillips at [email protected]
Mr. Phillips was a native of Pensacola, FL, attended University of West Florida & MTSU. He later became a Lt. Commander with the U.S. Navy, finished 1st in his class and became a “world famous fighter pilot”. He was a rugged individualist and was proud to be an American.

He is survived by one daughter; Kathryn McKenzie Phillips of Nashville, two brothers; Mark Phillips & Phil (Kitty) Phillips, both of Jacksonville, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Philip Bernard Phillips & Kathleen Thomas Phillips.
