Mr. Joe Irvin Dale II, age 69, and a resident of Booker Farm Road in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away in Columbia, Tennessee at Maury Regional Medical Center on Saturday, July 30, 2011.

Funeral Services for Mr. Dale will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Cunningham officiating with interment following at Southpoint Cemetery in Hampshire. The family will visit with friends on Monday, August 1st from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the service. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Dale was a native of Hampshire, TN, born to the late Elizabeth Louise Whitaker Dale (Mother) and the late Joe Irvin Dale. He earned his living by construction and also worked for Billy Carroll’s Tires & Wheels. He was quite the jokester, always telling a good joke, he was caring person, and he loved his grandchildren; 4 grands and 4 great- grandchildren.

He leaves behind one daughter; Patricia Beard of Mt. Pleasant, one son; Joe Irvin (Shannon) Dale III of Hampshire, two brothers; Charles (Kathy) Dale of Williamsport, and Millard Dale of Hampshire, his 4 grandchildren; Stephanie Diane Stewart of Lavergne, Jamison Lee Stewart & Zachery Cain Dale both of Hampshire, and James Riley Luke of Ft. Bragg, NC. along with his 4 great-grandchildren; Dylan Lee Morales, Jamison Lee Stewart, Jr., Rebecca Lynn Dale, and Gavin Case Luke. He is also survived by his sister-in-law; Bonnie (William) Dale of Lewisburg.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his brother; William E. Dale.
Grandchildren and nephews will proudly serve as Mr. Dale’s pallbearers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Mash Sr. and the staff at Life Care Health Care.
