Nellie Ruis Kelley

Nellie R. Kelley, age 91, a resident of Sequoya Trail in Columbia passed away on September 04, 2011 at NHC Hillview.

Funeral Arrangements for Ms. Kelley will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home of Lithonia, GA with Pastor David Payne and Rev. Leon Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday at the Henry Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Bobby Ray of Conyers GA, Jackie and James Vincent of Columbia, TN; son, Walter Kelley, Jr. of Lithonia; grandchildren, Cheryl Ray, Kelley Jefferson, Hal Vincent, Andrea Nash, Vicki Kelley, Kristen Kelley; 7 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Frances Miller, Jo King, Judy Sharp; brother-in-law, Hubert Kelley; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kelley, Sr.; mother, Byrel Cates; father, Elton Abbott and sister, Ida DeNoi.
