Garland James Cartret

March 11, 1942 - October 2, 2011

Mr. Garland Cartret, age 69, and a resident of Hampton Road in Columbia, TN passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

The family will have a private burial for Mr. Cartret. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cartret was born in Whiteville, NC. He was an outgoing self-employed paint contractor. He not only, "never met a stranger", he "never met an enemy".

He is survived by his daughters; Donna (William) Wylie & Karisa Walton; his son Garland (Jessica) Cartret, six grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Mr. Cartret was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn Roberts Cartret.
