Randall "Randy" Josh Young

October 14, 1957 - December 3, 2011

Mr. Randall “Randy” Josh Young, age 54, husband of Vickie S. Young and resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 03, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 06, 2011 from 3-7 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Young was a native of Cincinnati Ohio and son of the late Josh Young and Edith Spradlin Young. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School, Miami of Ohio and received his Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University. In addition to being the plant manager of Federal Mogul Corp. in Smithville, TN, Mr. Young was the owner and operator of Tranquil Waterscape Designs. He looked for ways to give back to others, and the creative and artistic water gardens he designed have created an oasis of beauty and peace that will be enjoyed by many for years to come.

Randy was a workaholic, but he always made time for his family. He was a loving and protective son, husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed football, especially the Titans, and basketball with his grandsons. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and the many others he touched throughout his life.

In addition to his wife and mother, Randy is survived by sons, Dane Joshua Young of Nashville, TN and Rob Arnold of Massillon, OH; daughter, Melissa Fisher of N. Lawrence, OH; sister, Rebecca Young of Castalian Springs, TN; grandchildren, Brittany and Travis Fisher of N. Lawrence, OH and Dakotah and Michael Arnold of Massillon, OH, several loving aunts and uncles; cousins and special family friend, Christine Staigel. He will be greatly missed by the pets he loved so much, including Sonny, his special adopted dog, along with Sophie, Anna and Angel.
