Mr. James O. Dunaway, age 51, husband of Alberta Kemper and a resident of Chapel Hill, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A native of Jackson, Mississippi he was the son of the late Crawford Noah Dunaway and the late Eunice Mae (Shedd) Smith. He was of the Baptist faith. This loving and caring family man enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed spending time in his “Man Cave”. When his grandchildren came along, they stole his heart. His family and friends whom he dearly loved and cherished will truly miss him.
In addition to his wife, he left behind to cherish his memory his son: James “Jamie” (Kimberly) Dunaway of Florence, MS; two step-sons, Josh (Stephanie) Self of Brandon, MS and Jeremy Self of Jackson, MS; two step-daughters: Tiffany Ramsey of Denver, CO and Candice Ramsey of Lexington, KY; brothers: Craft (Debbie) Dunaway of Baton Rouge, LA and Charlie Dunaway of Morton, MS; sister: Deborah (Cecil) Hodum of Magee, MS; ten grandchildren: Hunter, Cameron, Madison, Mikaela, Skylar, Nicholas, Reece, Austin, Riley and Avie; and several nieces and nephews.
