Phyllis Ann Ervin

August 8, 1953 - March 16, 2012

Phyllis Ann Ervin, age 58, wife of Charles Edward Ervin and a resident of Ostella Road in Cornersville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Williamson Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home-Columbia at 1 PM with Rev. Duane Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Friendship Baptist Cemetery. A visitation will be on Sunday, March 18th from 1-4 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until the service hour. Heritage Funeral Home-Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Maury County, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Clyde Freeman (father) and the late Elizabeth Sharpton Freeman (mother.) She was of the baptist faith, and a very loving mother, friend, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She worked as a nurse at The Williamson Medical Center for close to thirty years.

Along with her husband, she left behind to treasure her memory three daughters: Shannon (Jeremy) Wentzel of Cornersville, TN, Cassie (Bryan) Perry of Cornersville, TN, and Christy (Shawn) Bennett of Ethridge, TN; and nine grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Herman Allan Ervin.

Pallbearers will be Mike Ervin, Allan Ervin, Dennis Posey, Tony Collier, Charlie Collier, and Trey Collier.
