Phillip Lee Strom

October 21, 1951 - March 28, 2012

Mr. Phillip Lee Strom, a resident of Ardee Avenue in Nashville, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Phillip's final hours were in the presence of his close friends, Mike French and Eric Hendrix.

In the hours prior to his passing, Phillip sat in his recliner and prepared the details that would honor his life. At his request, he will be cremated and his ashes spread according to those wishes.

Phillip was born in Nashville on October 21, 1951. He served in the United States Army in the late 60's and early 70's.  Most recently, until his health failed him, Phillip continued to serve those who served through the Environmental Services Department of the VA-Medical Center.

Phillip lived life on his own terms and didn't blame others for the consequences of past decisions. He loved his time on earth and valued those around him. In addition to his friends, Eric Hendrix and Mike French, both of Nashville, Phillip is survived by a daughter: Angela; and a step-brother: Dennis.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home - Franklin.
