Randall (Randy) J. Hedrick, age 48, and a resident of Columbia passed away on Friday morning, May 11, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A native of Maury County, he was a member of Grace Church of Nazarene and attended Culleoka High school. Randy enjoyed days in the sun with his wife, family and friends, but most of all his daily walks on the beach and watching the sun set with his "Love", his wife HueAnn.

Randy enjoyed hosting movie night with his family and friends at his home-made theatre and an occasional practical joke to set the mood was not unusual. Randy's passion came from his creativity in teaching himself graphic design, which soon turned into a business. God gives us many gifts and Randy certainly exceeded in many of his and was always willing to do the Lord's work in every aspect of his life.

He was the best husband, brother, uncle, and son anyone could ever have. He was always there when his wife and family needed him. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and loved when the family would get together and have fun; he always made them laugh and enjoyed doing just that. He is loved by his wife, family and extended family very much and will be greatly missed.

Randy married HueAnn (Harrington) Hedrick on November 29, 1984. They were married 28 years. Beginning their life together in Columbia, Randy and his wife lovingly took care of his mother-in-law, Lorene Harrington, until her death in 2004. Randy began his career with the Krystal Company and very quickly advanced. He soon transferred to Birmingham, Alabama as a district supervisor and later to Panama City Beach, FL. The love of his mother, Faye Estes, and family soon pulled on his heart strings to move back home where he and his wife resided until his death.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother: Faye McCandless Hedrick (Eddie) Estes of Columbia; father: James Logan Hedrick of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, a child sent from God, Jenni (CoCo Puff) Anderson; two sisters: Debbie Mealer and Patricia “Sister” (Troy) Kelley of Columbia; two brothers: Michael Hedrick of Columbia and Ricky Hedrick of Spring Hill; and several very loved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Mealer, Phillip Mealer, Troy Kelley, Drew Kelley, Alden Kelley, Austin Hedrick, Daniel Doubler, and Michael Harrington, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Hedrick, Dennis Harrington, Danny Harrington, Michael Harrington, Jonathan Davis, Burt Davis, Tyler Powell, Bob Anderson and Mike Grate.
