Lauraine Edwards

August 19, 1935 - June 3, 2012

Mr. Lauraine Edwards, age 76 and a resident of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Zion Cemetery on Les Chapel Road in Spring Hill with Pastor Joey Johnson officiating. The family will gather for prayer and receiving friends between 9:00 and 10:30 AM in the Hunter Room at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 AM for the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Edwards was born August 19, 1935 in Maury County and was one of twelve children of William Finis Edwards and Laura Lee Edwards. He was a graduate of the Carver Smith High School, and worked in landscaping and yard care in his later years.

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings, including: Hubert, Luther, Robert and Hastin Edwards, and Rebecca L. Spencer. He is survived by a sister: Anita Lee Edwards of Columbia; two brothers: Henry Thomas Edwards and Cliff Edwards, both of Mt. Pleasant; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
