Cathy Rushing

November 11, 1960 - June 4, 2012

Cathy “Cat” Rushing, age 51 of Pulaski and formerly of Newport, MI, passed on Monday morning, June 4th with her boys at her side.

Cathy was born in Wyandotte, MI on November 11, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Garry Brown and Janet Labo Brown Glaser, a homemaker, and member of the Baptist faith.

Memorial services to celebrate and honor Cathy's life will be conducted at a later date and announced by Heritage Funeral Home.

In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by two sons: Mitch Rushing of Pulaski, TN and Michael (Rabecca) Rushing of Newport, MI; three sisters: Kelly (Dean) Glaser of Pulaski, TN, Linda Mullins of Arizona and Cheryl (Tom) Wakefield of Trenton, MI; and her husband: Jeff Rushing of Pulaski, also formerly of Newport. Additionally, Cat is survived by her two grandchildren who knew her as “Grandma” - Kaleb Brow and Hayden Rushing.

She was preceded in death by her father in January, 2012 and two brothers: Don and Danny Brown.
