Betty M. Buben

March 4, 1932 - June 6, 2012

Mrs. Betty Mae Kerbyson Buben, age 80, widow of Mike Buben, and a resident of Zimmerman Road in Hampshire, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 6th at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A private Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

Betty was a native of Flint, Michigan, and the daughter of the late Richard James Kerbyson and the late Nettie Mae Groombridge. She was a member of the Community in Christ Church in Clio, MI, VFW and Eastern Star, and Co-Leader of the Girl Scouts. Some of her hobbies included traveling and crocheting. She had visited all 50 states. Her and Mike had also traveled to foreign countries, including South America, Africa, China, the Middle East, England, Europe, Canada, Germany, Poland, Italy, Mexico, Japan, Russia, and Australia. She especially treasured flowers and antiques. Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother that will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Buben left behind to cherish her memory 2 children: Diana Burr of Hampshire, TN and Michael (Victoria) Buben of Butte, MT; 1 granddaughter, Andrea (Chaz) Shabdue of Hampshire, TN; 3 grandsons: Ryan (Jamie) Brown of Hampshire, TN, Jon (Keri) Buben, and Zachary Buben both of Missoula, MT; 7 great grandchildren: Austin Blade, Xavier Buben, Neeko Shabdue, Dierks Brown, Therin Brown, Aeris Buben, and Zarek Buben; brother: Harold (Sylvia) Kerbyson of Flushing, MI; sister: Evelyn Thomas of Flint, MI; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members.


In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Jim Kerbyson and a brother in law Roy Thomas.
