Terry Rowe

August 26, 1957 - June 16, 2012

Mr. Terry Rowe, age 54, husband of Jackie Rowe and a resident of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday June 16, 2012 at his residence.

The family will celebrate his life on Thursday, June 21 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Ethridge, officiated by Bro. J. D. Boshers. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Lawrence County, Terry was the son of Jimmy Rowe and Gwen Gibson Rowe of Ethridge. He was a graduate of Summertown High School and a member of the Baptist Church. Until the last couple of years when he returned to Tennessee due to his health, Terry lived in Oklahoma City for 30 years where he was a Meat Department Manager in the grocery industry. His love for UT football was shadowed only by his love for the people around him. Terry enjoyed grilling out and spending time with his friends and family, expressing his passion for life and befriending others.

In addition to his wife, Jackie Williams Rowe, he is survived by his parents: Jimmy and Gwen Rowe of Ethridge, TN; mother-in-law Barbara Shatswell of Tulsa, OK; two sons: Jakob Rowe of Yukon, OK, David Rothermel of Oklahoma City, OK; two daughters: Cassie Cooper of San Diego, CA and Jennifer Robertson of Tulsa, OK; two brothers: Ken (Karla) Rowe of Culleoka, TN and Marty Rowe of Lawrence County, TN; sister Nancy (Evan) Hargrove of Summertown; five grandchildren and special aunt Faye Morrow of Lawrenceburg, TN.
