Gary Powe

May 4, 1980 - July 12, 2012

Mr. Gary Alan Powe II, age 32, husband of Keri Lynn Powe, and a resident of Lindsey Drive in Columbia, TN passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Marshall County, TN.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family will also visit with friends from 3:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.


Born in Pensacola, FL, Gary later relocated to Maury County where he was a successful business owner and master carpenter. He was also affiliated with The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He loved the beach as well as fishing, camping, and playing the drums. He loved his family and friends dearly. Gary especially enjoyed spending time with his sons.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents: Gary Powe and Coral Jenks Justice; two sons: Clayton Avery Powe of Columbia, TN, Zachary Blanchard of Greeneville, TN; brother, Jason Powe of Eastaboga, AL; three sisters: Allison (Sean) Wolfe of Madison, AL, Angie (Keith) Tilghman of Columbia, TN, Charlotte Moyer of Columbia, TN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins who will miss him very much.
