Mrs. Carolyn Sue (Blair) Barnhart, widow of Dale Barnhart, age 64, died at 11:55 PM on Tuesday, August, 7, 2012 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Barnhart will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Abundant Life Pentecostal Church with Pastor Tony Davison and Rev. Joel Harper officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, August 09, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church. They will also visit on Friday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Barnhart was a very unique and loving lady. She was the daughter of the late James William and Hazel (Wiggins) Blair. Her love for the Lord was evident in her life as she always kept Him first. Following her love for the Lord, she loved her family. Her children, grand children and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. In addition, she thoroughly loved to go to church and spend time with her church family as well. She was a member of Bridge Street Lighthouse Church. Her sweet presence will truly be missed by all. She has really missed her loving husband of 47 years after his passing in October of 2011, but they are once again reunited as they are together with their sweet Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her two daughters: Lisa (Pastor Tony)Davison of Paducah, KY and Rene (Ronnie) Fields of Paducah, KY; brothers: Donnie Ray (Jan) Blair of Paducah, KY, Gary Wayne (Carolyn) Blair of Lone Oak, KY, and Donnie Lee "Buddy" (Linda) Blair of Paducah, KY; sisters: Brenda (Lester) Wright, Rosie (Bennie) Hall, and Wanda (Wayne) Myers all of Paducah, KY, Mary Ann (Danny) Avery of Ledbetter, KY, and Jo Ann (Chuck) Wring of Bardwell, KY; six grandchildren: Anthony T.J. (Sarrah) Davis, Jennifer (Justin) Rucker, Rachael Davision, Joshua Barnhart, Crystal (Ray) Ligon and Bobbie Wright; sever great grandchildren: Maggi Davison, Anthony Davison, Peyton Davison, Stetsen Rucker, Ethan Rucker, Benjamin Rucker, and Brylan Ligon.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by Edward Blair and James (Red).
