Elvie Russell Summers

Mr. Elvie R. Summers, age 75, and a resident of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Graveside services will be Saturday August 11, 2012 at England Cemetery in Waverly, Tennessee at 3:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements.

Elvie was born on April 25, 1937 in Humphrey County, Tennessee to the late Corenlius Gurine and Ruby Lee Bishop Summers. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his son: Roy Clay (Tammy) Summers; two daughters: Tammy (Barry) Baker, Lisa Lynn (Bobby) Sutton; brother: Ronald Summers; the mother of his children: Sherrea Seiber; four sisters: Clatie Hicks, Avis Buchanan, Rita Watts, Jane McKinney, and three grandchildren: Brodie Baker, Logan Summers, and Samantha Summers.

Elvie is preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Elvie's family and friends.
