Mary Helen McMasters

August 6, 1926 - August 16, 2012

Mary H. McMasters, age 86, and a resident of Columbia, TN passed away Thursday, August 15, 2012 at NHC Columbia.

Graveside services will be held at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Texas, Mary Helen was born on August 6, 1926 to Will and Nancy Thornsberry. She was a former waitress at the Lawrenceburg bus station. She also worked as a seamstress at the clothing manufacturer and was previously an employee of Connie’s Dress Shop.

She is survived by her foster daughter: Glenna Watson of Hampshire, TN; brother: William Bowen of Florence, AL; sister: Ellen Davis of Kentucky; two foster grandchildren; four foster great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents.
