Eileen Oates

May 24, 1948 - October 19, 2012

Eileen Franklin Oates, age 64, and a resident of Minor Hill, TN, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held with services at the Community Center in Minor Hill, TN on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 5:00PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements.

Eileen was born on May 24, 1948 in Covington, KY. She was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and the late Martha Bialic. She previously worked in Customer Service at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by two sons: Edward (Wendy) Oates of Minor Hill, TN, Matthew (Kelly) Oates of Goodsprings, TN; six step-daughters: Brenda Leiva, Marie Cavins, Kathy Grunsa, Elizabeth Reed, Sharon House, Edwiana Huffman; several brothers and sisters; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her special friend, Reba Myatt.
