James Michael McMillian

November 13, 1949 - November 12, 2012

James Michael McMillian, age 62, husband of Debbie Mangrum McMillian, and a resident of South Berlin Road in Lewisburg, TN passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 17th at 1 PM at Smyrna Church of Christ in Culleoka with Everett Campbell officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of the arrangements.

Mike was born in Cleveland, MS, and was the son of the late Howard Powell and Catherine Clemons McMillian. He and his brother Wayne started McMillian Brothers Floor Covering business in Lewisburg in 1975, being in business for over 30 years together. Besides his business, Mike loved his family and children. He enjoyed cooking in his spare time. Everyone acknowledged him as a great cook. He also cherished his pet birds and cats. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his wife Debbie, he is survived by 2 sons: Ben McMillian and Aaron McMillian, both of Lewisburg; daughter: Mere (Jon) Antonelli of Richmond, VA; brothers: Glen (Linda) Rogers of Mathason, MS, Lee McMillian of Bruce, MS, Wayne McMillian of Lewisburg, TN, Allan McMillian of Tillatoba, MS, Gene (Ann) McMillian of Maben, MS, and David (Lisa) McMillian of MS; sisters: Donna (Randy) Ginn of Flint, MI, and Janet Fisher of FL; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Robert McMillian.
