Ken Evanski

August 28, 1956 - November 18, 2012

Mr. Kenneth “Ken” John Evanski, age 56, husband of Delores Evanski, of Culleoka, TN passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral services for Ken will be Friday, November 23, 2012 at 6PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home: 9800 Telegraph Road, Taylor, Michigan 48180. Private burial will be in Michigan Memorial Gardens in Flat Rock, MI. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 2:00 until the service hour at 6PM.  Prior to transfer to Michigan, Ken's family gathered for a private visitation at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of local arrangements.

Born on August 28, 1956 in Wayne, MI and raised in Romulus, MI, Ken was the son of the late Richard and Leona Wojciechowski Evanski. He was affiliated with Friendship Baptist Church where he worked tirelessly, alongside his wife, in the food and clothing ministry. He worked for 30 years for General Motors painting cars, which he absolutely loved, as well as doing woodwork in his free time. Ken was a very giving, kind, gentle, relaxed, and “easy going” person. He was a wonderful father who was extremely family oriented. He had an extensive sense of humor and positive attitude which he kept throughout his life, and often expressed to others the need of having a sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter: Jessica Marie Evanski of Culleoka; brother: Thomas Evanski; and two sisters: Gloria Evanski and Nancy Evanski, all of Romulus, MI.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: Richard “Ricky” Evanski and sister: Kathleen Evanski.
