Mr. Charles Hill, age 76 and a resident of Nashville passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with A.M. Burton and Randall Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Scribner’s Mill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 2 – 4PM at Heritage Funeral Home as well as one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements.

Charles F. Hill was born on February 27, 1936 in Macedon Center, New York. He graduated from grammar school at Macedon Center School, middle school from Macedon School, and high school, in 1954, from Macedon-Palmac, all in New York. He had two children, Steven Hill and Suzanne Fabrizio. He worked 8 ½ years at Kordide and at a printing company for 4 years. He relocated to Nashville in 1980 and married Alice Crigger in 1981. He loved to hunt and attend baseball games. He also loved traditional country and bluegrass music. He was baptized in 1982 at Riverside Church of Christ. He drove a truck until 1994 when he had a stroke and had to go on disability.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son: Steve (Patty) Hill of Watertown; daughter, Suzanne (Rich) Fabrizio of Watertown; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one nephew, David Hill of New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Grace Hill and brother, Walter Hill.

Pallbearers will be Rich Fabrizio, Stevie Hill, Ryan Cargill, Joey Moore, John McMeen, and David McMeen.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Hillsboro Church of Christ.
