William Langley

Mr. William Langley, age 65, and a resident of Sherry Drive in Columbia, TN passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 3:30pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Interment will follow at Maury Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located next to the funeral home. The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 14th from 11am until 8pm, and again on Saturday from noon until 3:30pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge and assisting the family with arrangements.

Bill was born in the Philippines in 1947, and came to America in 1951. He served in the Army, and fought in the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Susan “Chodaniecky” Langley in 1971. He retired as a machinist for GM. Bill was an active member in the UAW Local #1853 since 1989, and was also a man who loved all types of sports. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his wife Susan of 41 years, he is survived by a son: Steven (Jessica) Langley; Daughters: Kimberly Hooper, Jennifer (Mark) Danorovich, and Stefanie Langley; Sisters: Judy Langley (Patrick) White; Grandchildren: Joshua Hooper, Katelyn Langley, Kyndall Danorovich, Alyssa Hooper, Gabby Langley, and Myah Langley..
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Harry Langley and Otilia Mallari Langley; a sister Peggy Coyne; and a grandson Zachary Langley.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Hooper, Eddie Langley, Justin Bullock, Mark Danorovich, Ray Ransom, and Chris Chapman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Hooper and Mike Wheeler.
