Cardene Davis

Ms. Cardene “Dene” Davis, age 61, of Madison, TN passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Points officiating. The family will also visit with friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Columbia, Dene was born on August 16, 1951. She was the daughter of the late John Robert and Velma G. Davis. She previously worked as a grill cook at Jay’s Family Restaurant. Dene was a Titans and Alabama fan, and she loved riding Harleys. She enjoyed watching soap operas, and she loved her family.

She is survived by two sons: Barry (Misty) Sims II of Lyles, TN, Daniel Herstein of Madison, TN; twin sister: Carlene Bliss of Culleoka; sister: Susie (Charles) Dalton of Hendersonville, TN; and six grandchildren: Hannah, Katie, Eli, Davian, John Robert, and Charles.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, John D. Davis and Jay Davis.
