George Timmons

March 27, 1935 - January 30, 2013

Mr. George Timmons, age 77, husband of Elaine Marie Johnston Timmons, and a former resident of Bear Creek Pike passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Signature Health Care in Columbia.

The family will celebrate his life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

George was born on March 27, 1935 in Vancouver, Washington. He was the son of the late Clarence and Lillian Emma Allen Timmons. He previously worked as a truck driver for Utility Trailer Manufacturing. He served our country in the United State Navy for fourteen years and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed camping and sports.

In addition to his wife of forty-nine years, Elaine, he is survived by son, Rusty Rae Timmons; daughters: Kristiana Darlene Timmons, Ellen Marie Green; brother, Clarence Everett, Jr.; grandchildren: Robert Rae Timmons, Robert Allen Card, Brandon Alan Beard, Amanda Marie Green, Michelle Elizabeth Green; great-grandchildren: Hunter Maxwell Edwards, Kandice Jane Beard, Leland Douglas Beard, Julian Parker Beard; and son-in-law, Bruce Wayne Green.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Randy Rae Timmons; and sister, Shirley Dillman.
