Howard Roediger

March 9, 1945 - April 19, 2013

Howard E. Roediger, Jr., age 68, and a resident of Lewisburg passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on March 9, 1945, Howard was the son of the late Howard E. and Dorothy Roediger. He was a retired car salesman, and he enjoyed showing quarter horses in New York and Pennsylvania. When he was sixteen years old he was the State Cutting Horse Champion in Pennsylvania. He was married thirty-eight years to his wife, Sherry.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Dennis Morrison of Columbia; daughters: Stacey (Eric) Schroeder of Columbia, Julie Roediger of Lewisburg; brother: Cletus Roediger of Pennsylvania; sister: Caroline Curren of Virginia; grandchildren: Heather Morrison, Andrew Morrison, Shelby Morrison, Dylan Townsend, Brady Morrison, William Morrison; great-grandchildren: Kennedy Hay and Colton Burns; and great-grandchild, Noah Nichols who is due in July.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Keith Roediger; sister: Faith Roediger; and father and mother-in-law: Charlie and Billie Morrison.
