Ronald William Eliason

June 16, 1959 - July 22, 2013

Mr. Ronald William Eliason, age 54, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 on the job for Falcon Transport in Maryville, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be held three hours prior to the service on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arangements.

Mr. Eliason was born on June 16, 1959 in Pontiac, Michigan and was the son of the late Franklin and Shirley Svoboda Eliason. He attended Rochester Adams High School in 1978. He married Keri Ann Eliason in 1981 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He worked in the car business for 27 years, and then moved to work in long haul trucking the remainder of his life. Ron was a wonderful man. His daughter stated, “He was an incredible man, devoted father, and the bravest person I’ve ever had the honor to know.”

He is survived by his daughter: Nicole Marie Eliason; wife: Keri Eliason; and brothers: Jon and Don Eliason.

Along with Mr. Eliason’s parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
