Carlos L. Renfro

Mr. Carlos L. Renfro, age 49 of North Hampton, New Hampshire, passed suddenly into eternity on Sunday, July 21, 2013 in New Hampshire.

Celebration services will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday from noon until 1:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Columbia, Carlos was born on February 21, 1964 and was the son of Geneva Sanford Renfro and the late Willie J. Renfro. He attended the Maury County School System and was a graduate of Columbia Central High School. He played Little League Baseball and was active in Boy Scouts. Early in life, Carlos began the pursuit of his lifelong passion of body building training at Harvey’s Gym. Before relocating to New Hampshire to continue his career, he worked with GE in Columbia.

Following his dream of personal fitness and body building to New Hampshire, he was the owner and operator of Maximum Nutrition and Vanguard Fitness, both in North Hampton, New Hampshire. He was also employed by Paul G. White Tile Company. His ultimate goal was to compete professionally. Carlos fulfilled that dream last year when he became a professional body builder.

No matter his pursuits or activities, Carlos set himself apart as a devoted and loving father to his son, Naethen, and devoted husband.

Carlos leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife: Wendy Renfro of North Hampton, NH; son, Naethan James Renfro of North Hampton, NH; his mother: Geneva Renfro of Columbia; a brother: Eric Renfro of Columbia; two sisters: Darlene Renfro and Eilene Renfro both of Columbia; 3 nieces, 5 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Willie J. Renfro.
