Sharon J. McDaniel

February 18, 1943 - August 9, 2013

Sharon J. McDaniel, age 70, a resident of Fly Hollow Road in Santa Fe passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A private service will be scheduled at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born in Lima, Ohio on February 18, 1943, Sharon was the daughter of the late Merrill and Rowena Swarner Warner. She was a creative and artistic woman who enjoyed reading. She found great pleasure in helping people, and she loved caring for animals. She will be loved and missed by her family.


She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son: James Mc Daniel of Knoxville, TN; daughter: Aundraea Delayne McDaniel of Columbia; three brothers: Rick Warner, Paul Warner, and Larry Warner; sister: Sue Pitts; two grandchildren: Ryan and Sarah McDaniel; and several beloved pets.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter: 1233 Mapleash Ave., Columbia, TN 38401.

She wants to remind everybody, “I am not far; I am near. Whisper softly and I will hear.”
