Coma J. Lovely

November 22, 1931 - August 24, 2013

Coma J. Lovely, age 81, a resident of Culleoka, passed away Saturday morning, August 24, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Hasting officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Heritage Funeral Home and again two hours prior to the service on Monday from 12-2 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born in Horse Branch, KY on November 22, 1931, Coma was the daughter of the late Shelby and Valor Payton. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a homemaker for the majority of her life. Coma loved flowers and reading, but above all, she loved her children and was a great mother to them. Coma was a selfless, giving person who would do anything for anybody.

She is survived by her three sons: Gary Lovely of Cornersville, TN, Donald (Brenda) Lovely of Culleoka, William (Tracy) Lovely of Culleoka; three daughters: Rhonda (David) Parker of Columbia, Wilma Jo (James) Clark of Columbia, Robin (James) Cothran of Columbia; brother: Richard (Jonell) Payton of Caneyville, KY; two sisters: Evelyn (Raymon) Crawford of Caneyville, KY, Hazel (Elmer) Geary of Yeaman, KY; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two of her children: Charles “Chuck” Lovely, Melanie Coleman; and two of her brothers: Leland Payton and Joe Payton.

Pallbearers will be Davy Parker, Jr., Aaron Lovely, Donald Lovely, Jr., Keefe Cothran, Lee Clark, and Chad Lovely.

Family and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
