Gary Dewayne McCombs

March 14, 1939 - October 5, 2013

Mr. Gary McCombs, age 74, a resident of Windsor Drive in Columbia, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at his residence.

The family will celebrate his life with a Memorial Service at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church at 12noon on Friday, October 11th with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on March 14, 1939 in Quinwood, West Virginia, Gary was the son of the late Elgrin Otho and Lula Ruth Dillon McCombs. He previously worked as a line worker for an automotive plant.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy McCombs; daughters: Kimberly Huber and Katherine Howell; son: Gary McCombs, Jr.; and brothers: Dave and Robert McCombs.
