Born in Columbia, TN on May 31, 1951, Danny was the son of the late James Edward Bradley and Mrs. Mary Catherine McCoy Bradley of Columbia. Being born and raised on a family farm, he grew up milking cows and raising corn and tobacco. Once he was big enough to walk, he was working and driving a tractor on the farm. Danny attended Santa Fe School, and would bring his friends home to work on the family farm, providing them a strong work ethic and opportunity for a great home-cooked meal. In his younger adult years he was a wrestler. Danny always remembered his upbringing and even raised a garden up until last year. Danny accomplished a lot in his 62 years, working for Occidental for twenty years and logging for over 15 years as co-owned B&B Logging. He helped operate Sewell’s Garage in Santa Fe.

Danny was an excellent mechanic and could fix about anything that was broken. He enjoyed wood work and was extremely good at it. Anything you needed built, he could build it. When his children were younger, he was an avid coach and supporter of their sports and at one point coached all three of his children at the same time. One of Danny’s favorite events of the year was Mule Day. He served as a Mule Day Official and was inducted onto the Mule Day Wall of Fame at this year’s celebration. He was a bar-b-que pit master and gave away free food during the Mule Day festivities. His family specifically described him as being a generous man with a big heart who loved his family. Danny was full of life and you could often find him sipping on a cold Diet Mt. Dew.

In addition to his mother: Mary Catherine Bradley of Columbia; he is survived by his daughter: Kim (Steve) Brady of Culleoka; two sons: Keith (Jamie) Bradley of Columbia, Kerry Bradley of Nashville; and siblings: Judy Ladd of Columbia, Sandra Brown of Columbia, Linda (Jimmy) Fitzgerald of Columbia, Bill (Kim) Bradley of Columbia and Pamela Bradley of Hendersonville. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Jessica Young, Mallory Brady, Cayla Bennett, KJ Bradley, and Madelyn Brady.
