Mrs. Patsy Kennedy, age 72, wife of Billy Kennedy, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday morning, November 12, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 14th at 11AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Jerry Elder and Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, November 13th from 4-7PM and again one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patsy was born May 20, 1941 in Maury County, Tennessee and was one of 12 children of James Kindrick and Lillie Pearl Kincaid Biffle. She was a long time member of the West 7th St. Church of Christ. Patsy dedicated her life caring for her husband Billy, and making a home for her beloved daughter, Kay Kay. Her daily activities revolved around her family, and building a warm home where guests were always welcomed. She loved to entertain Kay Kay's friends, and extended her gifts to her granddaughter, Katie Beth. Patsy always enjoyed vacationing, and cherished time at the beach with both her family and friends.

Along with her husband: Billy; Patsy is survived by her daughter: Kay Kay Kennedy Sharp of Columbia; granddaughter: Katie Beth Sharp of Columbia; sisters: Betty Ann James of Naperville, IL, Grace Royoski of Canby, OR, Carolyn Dodson of Columbia, TN, Beverly Jean Collins of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Martha Sue Haynes of LaVergne, TN; and special family friend: Dana Salters.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Kennedy, Wayne Kennedy, Bobby Brooks, John Church, Jimmy Bass, and AC Howell. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
