Larry Austin

August 25, 1958 - November 23, 2013

Mr. Larry Ray Austin, age 55, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at NHC Hillview, following an extended illness.

Larry has donated his remains for cancer research. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was raised in Chattanooga, where he attended Chattanooga Central High School and began his life’s work as a finish carpenter and builder. He made his home and worked in Columbia, for over 25 years.

He is survived by his father, E. Ray Austin, now retired in Panama City Beach, FL; sister, Marjorie L. Austin, Columbia, TN; daughters, Autumn A. Williams (Anthony) of Hermitage, TN; Starla Austin, Columbia, TN; grandsons, Cody and Dylan Williams, and granddaughters, Faith Austin, Brooklyn Bullock and Baylee Williams.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary A. Austin and brother Dennis Glenn Austin both of Chattanooga, TN.
