Timotea Sabio

Timotea Sabio, age 88, a resident of Lewisburg passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Father Kelley officiating. The family will also visit with friends on Tuesday two hours prior to the service from 4-6 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Irineo Sabio, in Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City, Philippines. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born in Buhi, Camarines Sur, Philippines on September 2, 1925, Timotea was the daughter of the late Jose and Emiteria Rabacal Balang. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. John Catholic Church in Lewisburg. She will be remembered as a mother and woman of faith. She taught her children the value and importance of always being happy and always offering forgiveness.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Erlinda Kracke of Lewisburg, Hunfredo Sabio, Edna Magauay, Reynaldo Sabio, all of the Philippines, Cristina Sabio and Francia Sabio both of Lewisburg, and Josefino Sabio of Maryland; two siblings: Filomino and Andres Balang of the Phillippines; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Leonor Darunday.

Isinilang sa Buhi, Camariness Sur, Philippines noong September 2, 1925. Si Timotea ay anak ng mga namayapa ng sina Jose at Emiteria Balang. Siya ay isang Katoliko at miyembro ng St. John Catholic Church ditto sa Lewisburg. Aalalahanin siya bilang isang butihing ina na may malaking pagmamahal sa Diyos. Tinuruan niya ang kanyang mga anak sa kahalagahan pagiging palaging masaya, mabuting tao at mapagpatawad.

Naiwan upang kanilang alalahanin ang kanyang mga anak na sina: Erlinda Kracke ng Lewisburg, Hunfredo B. Sabio, Edna S. Magauay, Reynaldo B. Sabio, na pawang nasa Pilipinas, Cristina B. Sabio at Francia B. Sabio parehong naninirahan sa Lewisburg, Tennessee, U.S.A. at si Josefino B. Sabio na naninirahan naman sa Maryland, U.S.A.; two kapatid na sina: Filomeno at Andres Balang ng Pilipinas at maraming mga apo at apo sa tuhod.

Bukod sa kanyang asawa, nauna na rin sa kanyang namayapa ang kanyang anak na si Leonor S. Darunday.
