Margaret Adelle Hubbell passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014, just three days following her 70th birthday.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 21 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday, January 20 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Margaret was a dietary cook for NHC and, most recently, Morning Pointe, and of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered by her family as "silly and funny." Margaret was a kind, caring woman who cared for others before herself. She found her passion in "just being a momma, and grandmother." She loved to cook for her family, and in earlier years enjoyed fishing as well. She found pleasure in the simpler things in life, such as peanuts and pork skins, which she enjoyed eating.
Margaret is survived by her boys: Shane Hubbell of Pulaski, and Brian and Sheila Hubbell of Columbia; and her five grandchildren: Stephanie Leighann, Michael Scott, Wesley Keith, Zachary and Gregory Hubbell.
Pallbearers will be Shane Hubbell, Brian Hubbell, Scott Hubbell, Wesley Hubbell, Jerry Hubbell, and Kalem Reynolds.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the family memorial through Heritage Funeral Home, and wish to thank the caring nursing staff of Maury Regional Hospital and CARIS Hospice.
