James Richard Brown

November 20, 1946 - June 20, 2015

Mr. James Richard Brown, age 68, a resident of a Hohenwald, formerly of Franklin, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home of Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born in Williamson County on November 20, 1946, James was the son of the late James C. and Annie Elizabeth Holt Brown. He worked for many years as a welder at the Nashville Bridge Company. He often enjoyed riding horses, gardening, and going out on the boat. James especially loved working on cars and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his children: Richard Heath Brown on Franklin, Stephanie Brown of Columbia, James Brown of La Vergne, Jessica Brown of La Vergne; sisters: Jean (Billy) Prewitt of Thompsons Station, Dorothy (Marvin) Parker of Shelbyville, Brenda Brown of Franklin; and eight grandchildren.
