Joan Carol Bortz of Brentwod, Tennessee

June 6, 1931 - January 23, 2016

Joan Bortz, age 84, and a resident of Brentwood, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her residence.

The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home of Franklin is assisting the family.

Born on March 6, 1931 in Superior, Wisconsin, Joan was the daughter of the late Clayton Taber and the late Marguerite Rutherford Taber. She was of the Christian faith and worked as a secretary for several different insurance companies.

She is survived by her sons: March and Mike Bortz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: George Bortz.
