Frances Daugherty of Fairview, Tennessee

Frances Lavern Daugherty, age 95, of Fairview, passed away June 14, 2016 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11AM at Old New Hope Baptist Church in Fairview with Bro. Wayne Etheridge officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 9-11AM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home of Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on March 17, 1921 in New Bern, Tennessee, Frances was the daughter of the late Thomas Christopher Arnold and the late Callie Mae Anderson Arnold.

She is survived by her daughter: Mary Frances Aleshire of Fairview; brother: Don Arnold of Russellville, AR; sister: Joyce Smith of Centerville; grandchildren: Sarah Franklin of Fairview, Jennifer Newman of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Virgil Aleshire; second husband Albert Luther Daugherty; daughter: Nancy Ann Franklin; sisters: Virginia Schafer, Mary Clanton; and brother: Dortch Arnold.
