Nancy Ellen Spicer Rodgers, age 70, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 25 th at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 3850 Gainesboro Grade, in Cookeville, Tennessee. There will also be a live stream of services at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 210 Stone Brook Dr. Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
Born November 11, 1947, In Grand Rapids, Michigan, Nancy was the daughter of the late William Augusta Spicer Jr. and the late Nora Laverne Clark Spicer. She was preceded in death by her late husband Fred Rodgers of Gainesboro, TN. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Richard “Ricky” Allen Fuller of Columbia, TN.
She is survived by her son: Eric (Sheryl) Fuller of Columbia, TN; daughter: Megan Fuller of Gainesboro, TN; six grandchildren; brothers: Don Spicer of Fairview, TN, Scott Spicer of Gainesboro, TN and Bill Spicer of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by six step children: Peggy Lafferty, Cindy Cutler, Jim Rodgers, Luke Rodgers, John Rodgers, Jane Shivers and 14 step grandchildren.
Nancy was a long time devoted Jehovah’s Witness in the Columbia, TN congregation and later a member of the Cookeville congregation after moving to Gainesboro, TN. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was a house plant enthusiast and a voracious reader.
