Stephanie Pierce

December 14, 1963 - August 10, 2018

Stephanie Denise Pierce, a lifetime resident of Columbia, Tennessee, departed this life on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Maury Regional Medical Center.  Ms. Pierce was born on December 14, 1963 to Betty Jean Pierce and the late James Edward Pierce.  She was educated in the Maury County School System and a 1983 Graduate of Columbia Central High School. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and joined Burns Spring Church of Christ.

Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the final arrangements.  Services for Ms. Pierce will be held in their chapel at 609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, Tennessee on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 12:00 Noon.  Internment will immediately follow the services at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.  The family will host visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Stephanie was a beautiful person inside and out.  Prior to her illness, she was employed by Maury Regional Medical Center and worked in the obstetrics unit for many years.  She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews, and they all loved her so!  She also was an avid lover of fashion!  Even throughout her illnesses and many surgeries, she was always tremendously positive and had a bright smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Pierce, and her loving niece, Canesha D. Pierce.

She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory her mother, Betty J. Pierce, her sister and brother-in-law, Monte and Bonetia Howard, a brother, Keith E. Pierce, her nephew and niece-in-law, Roderick and MarKecia Howard, two nieces, Charonda and Naprecia Pierce, 2 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews, special friends Sergio and Ava Perkins Rodriguez, Ike Grimes, Deborah Anderson, LaTasha Morgan, Saviya Morgan and Angie Claude, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
